Sobre el Artista

Originally from Istanbul, Jeyan N. Bekar is a classically educated La Jolla artist and curator. She is an accomplished glass sculptor, oil painter and photographer since the 70s. After completion of her graduate program on "Museum Studies Program," she worked as a museum curator for five different California museums. Since 2007, Jeyan has taken a leading role in the international sister cities programs, in particular in art exhibitions, music concerts and documentary film screenings in Long Beach, West LA, Laguna Beach, Balboa Island, San Diego, New York, San Francisco, Santa Monica, Istanbul, Seferihisar and Izmir.
