Sobre el Artista
I am a painter, illustrator and art educator. I have an MFA in Fine Art, painting and and art educators degree. I trained in London and Sydney Australia and currently live and work in Melbourne. My work focuses mainly on the figure used as a vector or object that defines the space between. The space is seen as the Japanese term ‘ma’ to be imbued with various meanings from the viewer. I paint portraits and abstract works also. I work often to a geometrical structure that plays with the ‘golden mein’ I enjoy the use of paint, mainly oils, but often using an acrylic base. I have been awarded Fellowships in both France,(the Cite Internationale des Arts) Paris, the Banff Centre for the Arts, Canada, and Olympic Park, Sydney,
Exhibited in Melbourne, Sydney plus image exposure in France.
