Sobre el Artista

I'm born inthe Acadian penesula in New-Brunswick, Canada and I live in Drummondville Québec since 1988.I have my busness REL'ART since 2004 and teaching art at different level.Using a multidisciplinary approach which combines painting, recycling and poetry, I create pieces inspired by my Acadian roots, by territories, by the sea, by the flora and the fauna. My latest works are invested upon vast extents of wild lands and forests as well as on light variations of the fleeing moments of the day. Abstraction is treated as a filter between optical illusions and the looking eye. Horizons and landscapes make way for a reflection on our humanity. Within this space, each work is prepared with care, textured by silk paper, crinkled by my hands, liberating its energy. Mine are rituals of creation which I paste on the canvas. Poetry is an extension of my pictorial work. I unveil landscapes of rare places, where nothing and no one troubles our gaze; a marking of the passage of time… These different levels of creation constitute a metaphoric and poetic space.
