Sobre el Artista
“I believe Art is not unlike Life — Limitless in Form; Infinite in Expression.” – Venditti
Jerry Venditti’s intense attention to detail is immediately evident in his work. His illusion of realistic depiction and mastery of the painstaking and demanding technique of trompe l’oeil, a French term meaning, “to fool the eye”, results in a fantastic artifice of the third dimension, so powerful that the viewer is tempted to reach out and touch the objects in his masterful paintings.
Jerry creates his own rich, vibrant style that takes one beyond the canvas. His range of subject matter can transport one to many exciting and stimulating locales; experience the wine country or even the exotic wilderness of Africa. Artistically, every brushstroke owns the canvas; there is no subject too insignificant to be treated with reverence and perfection. Anywhere you are, Venditti’s work will vibrate to the heart, mind and soul of your being.
"There is beauty unbound-able in the innocence of the open-moment," says Venditti and an opportunity to feel into that broader, deeper 'now' is found effortlessly within his exquisite art. Collected internationally, privately and corporately, Venditti's work was awarded a nomination by the prestigious Artists Foundation for Conservation (AFC). He painted and donated a piece of art to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, which is the world’s largest breast cancer organization, funding more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit while providing real-time help to those facing the disease. Venditti was also a featured artist at the Jane Goodall International Symposium for Conservation Art
Native to San Francisco, Jerry studied art with Al Proom and Tom Jordon of the renowned San Francisco Art Institute. He currently paints from his studio in the Sierra foothills of Grass Valley, California
