Karin Swildens was born in Holland of dutch parents, raised in Morocco, studied at the Ecole Superieure des Arts Decoratifs in Paris France. Designed HERMES scarves, illustrated children's books and magazines, worked at the restoration of Le Louvre Museum paintings. She came to Los Angeles and started SCULPTING in 1980. Her sculptures were appreciated by Austin Productions Inc as well as Collections 85 and Jaru.To this day her designs are in the line of Artisan-House, a fine wall -sculptures company based in Burbank, California.
