Sobre el Artista
Betiana Bradas was born June 10, 1976, in Rosario, a city of Santa Fe, Argentina. Her hometown Chovet is where she spent childhood and teen years, playing between metals and steel that her father turned to modify to generate industrial products. It is there where her curiosity began for the textures, materials, and forms that until today make Betiana continue investigating her artistic career.
At 18, she returns to the city of Rosario to begin her studies in Marketing and Graphic Design, at the same time painting with María Alicia Vicari, BA in Fine Arts for 8 years and workshops on identity and project with renowned artist Claudio Roncoli in Buenos Aires. When she finishes her studies, she opens "Designio Diseño", her own graphic design studio for 3 years, as well as working the family business in the area of research and development. In 2013, began her career in Fine Arts at the National University of Rosario and set up her own atelier.
As a teacher, she assisted Horacio Gorodischer in typography (Rosario School of Graphic Design). In the "Day Center" for people with disabilities and taught workshops for children. Created "Quetupe Casa de las Artes" in Rosario where she offered the community different ways of approaching the arts through workshops accessible to all ages. In the Copa de Leche Foundation, art programs and craft workshops to reinsert young people into society.
Following her impulse in the constant search she begins traveling; in July 2013 he arrives in New York and performs Contemporary Art in Sothebys and painting workshop with Rebecca Schweiger. In 2014 he took a course on Introduction to Curatorship, Espacio dos puntos in Buenos Aires. In 2015 he returned to NY and made a short course on Contemporary Art at Christie's. In the year 2017 I hold a workshop on different techniques in the art (collages) at Casa Matienzo in the city of Buenos Aires as well as Introduction to Curatorship course carried out by NODE, Spain.
In 2014 she arrives in the United States where he performs her first Art Center Wynwood exhibition during Art Basel Week Miami. Since then he exhibits in, New York, Italy, and Dubai, Spain, Holland, England and Argentina. James Knight Center and Conrad Brickell of Miami entrusted their spaces to exhibit their works for several years.
