https://www.instagram.com/lonedyrby/ https://www.lgdyrby.dk/ Lone Gadegaard Dyrby is a Danish self-taught artist, who gets her inspiration from strong colors, imagination, joy, good humor and all sorts of quirks. Her paintings are whimsical and imaginative, to give the viewer a happy and positive experience. She paints from the "right here & right now" feeling, that allows the painting to grow in the process. She was born and raised in Vedbæk north of Copenhagen. She was for some years stationed in France, Portugal, Greece and Austria as a travel and ski guide. She has been an independent event planner and has primarily worked in various creative jobs. Most recently in the restaurant business, where she for many years has been head kitchen chef and party planner. She lives north of Copenhagen with her husband and together they have two grown up sons. For many years, she has been painting at a hobby level, but has chosen to focus fully on her art. Over the years she has attended several private art classes to improve her skills. She begins a new painting with one purpose: "to be in a creative colorful and fun universe, where time and place are broken down and creativity is allowed to arise and run free".
