Awad received her formal art education from the prestigious New York School Of Visual Arts. She also studied at the highly respected Atlanta College of Art Now called the Savannah School of Art and Design. Awad's art career encompasses women and children clothing design, prop creation and illustration work for the PBS television series” Barney and Friends”. Her paintings have been exhibited in solo exhibitions and shows in New York City, Dallas, Los Angeles, and the Seattle Center in Seattle ,Washington.
