Sobre el Artista

A native of Finland, Tarja CockelI worked as a weaving teacher after graduating from textile and design. Her current work explores mixed textile media creating her contemporary wall pieces. She makes use of dyes, paints, oil sticks and thread to achieve her subtle color palette. Her images are simplified just bringing out the essence of the forms leaving space for the imagination.
