Sobre el Artista

Charla Morgan is an award-winning fine artist from Southern California. She became interested in fine art at an early age, but didn't begin serious study until the 1970s, during which time she apprenticed with her aunt, Marie Jones~a well-respected artist within Westwood Village (back in the day when the Village was an artist's haven). Charla went on to receive an AA degree in Fine Art and Photography from Santa Monica College in 1980 and has been painting ever since. Additional undergraduate and graduate studies include: BA in Print Journalism and English Literature, University of Southern California; MA Studies in Communication, USC's Annenberg School of Communications and Journalism; Multi-Subject Teaching Credential, Michael D. Eisner College of Education, California State University, Northridge. (Note: She is currently apprenticing with an established artist in preparation for a master's program in fine art.) Charla lives in Los Angeles with her soul mate and husband of 25 years, Larry Morgan (as well as two very spoiled canines, Bumpy and Buddy Morgan).
