It is a painting in which the canvas plays the main role in giving form and composition to the painting. An abstraction that recalls crying and overcoming pain contemporarily. Gender violence and the sense of living "in-between" are at the core of my work. In this painting, "in-between" trauma and post-trauma, women who have been abused deserve to cry also jor joy and to feel this emotion again within the healing and resilience process.
