PROFILE Artist's name: Yasuyuki Ito Yasuyuki Ito was born in 1971 in Hiroshima Prefecture. He experienced a sudden deterioration in his eyesight in 2003, leading to loss of central vision (name: Label disease; grade of disability: Type 1, Class 1). He began life training and occupational training at Nippon Lighthouse in Osaka in the fall of 2003 to learn how to deal with his new condition. Ito currently lives in Kobe.
