education: BFA in Design from Syracuse University MFA in Painting/Illustration from Academy of Art University I have always loved the beauty of the world around me and all of the creatures in it. In my landscapes I strive to capture the moments that nature captures me so that I can share them with my audience. In my horses, I hope to show their power and grace, they truly inspire me. In my figures I hope to capture the beauty of the human form and emotion that it evokes in me. I have long admired the Impressionists, Hudson River school, and old masters such as Malais, Church, Bouguereau and Carravagio and have been influenced heavily by them. I look to my contemporaries in traditional painting and illustration as well as mentors and peers for continued inspiration and direction.
