Sobre el Artista
Adam Ekberg was born in Boston Massachusetts, he received his MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2006. Adam’s recently had solo exhibitions at DeSoto Gallery, Los Angeles; Thomas Robertello Gallery, Chicago; Fotografiska, Stockholm Sweden and Platform Gallery, Seattle. Adam’s work is in the permanent collections of The Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago and The Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.
Recent group exhibitions of Adam’s work include, Aran Cravey Gallery, Los Angles CA, Summer Magic; DePaul Art Museum, Chicago IL Histories/Photographies; RayKo Photo Center, Scene Unseen, San Francisco, CA; Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, IL: Elements of Photography; Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago IL: Highlights from the Collection and Crawford Art Gallery, Cork Ireland, Gravity and ClampArt, New York NY, Into the woods.
In addition, Adam was included in The Collectors Guide to Emerging Art Photography, Humble Arts Foundation, New York, New York, as well as the Harvard Business Review. He is the recipiuent of a 2013 Tanne Foundation Award. Adam lives with his spouse and dog along the Delaware River in western New Jersey.
