Sobre el Artista

My artwork is a fusion between object and imagination. This convergence allows me to create a composition that not only takes on a life of its own, but were the objects become interconnected in a very specific way. My desire is to take the viewer into an unexpected journey were all possibilities can and do become a reality. I began my love affair with art as a very young child. Coming from an immigrant family were my parents struggled day to day, art became my escape into a place where my imagination had no limits. Crayons, paper, cardboard anything I could get my hands on were the doors to this amazing world. Until one day my mother brought me a box of "Paint By Numbers" and my life was never the same again! This love affair has continued throughout my entire life and has intensified with maturity and life experiences. My journey has been full of surprises and I have used these experiences to grow as an artist and a person. I dedicate my days completely to my art just as I did long ago as a child; and the love my family gives me everyday are the oils I use to paint.
