Born in vienna, austria. studied languages and art. worked as radio journalist. hobby of painting turned into profession. opened own art gallery in vienna/ austria. Moved to the south of france, provence area, continued panting in the great light of southern france!. Since 10 yrs. homebase has been the USA, arizona, scottsdale, Extensive travels through the USA, central america, mexico and asia triggered my inspiration i am trying to capture the change in seasons with color, light and texture. I've been always intrigued by the more dramatic elements of a landscape. my work has shown throughout europe and also the usa/arizona. works range from atmospheric and contemplative to bold and energetic - but all of them express my love for nature, play of light and color. my style is realistic or conceptual, expressive or abstract-but always using vibrant colors .
