Doug Linn is a talented watercolour artist currently located in Chilliwack B.C. Canada. Throughout his life he has travelled throughout Canada the United States, England and Greece. Doug has taught watercolour classes across Canada and on the Greek Island of Mykonos. As a former broadcast/journalist and morningtime radio host he has used his travels to support his habit - which is his studio and taste for art and watercolours. As an artist he has been featured in a number of publications. John Charnetski, studio sculptor of the Associated Fire Art Studios wrote: "his colours are expressive and surprisingly vivid, exhibiting his total mastery of watercolour while capturing the expressive atmosphere of his subject. Doug Linn's work hangs well in any environment." Film and Television producer/director Eva Wunderman wrote: "I have seen him paint and teach in both Canada and in Greece...as I watch him paint...it's an experience of truth endorsed by life that gives his art a sense of soul and beauty." San Francisco sculptress Marilyn Kuksht (also on the Internet) said : "Doug paints in colours and transparencies unlike anything I have ever seen before..." University of the Fraser Valley director Rae McCombs wrote: "It started as a small daytime class, and has attracted so much interest, there are now 3 full classes with waiting lists. Doug has an easy effective manner with his students." He is recently graduated from an intensive year of study in Classical and 3DMaxR2 computer animation - produced through Sprott-Shaw College.
