Lawani Sunday hails from a rocky city which has one of the most beautiful and natural gift, a tourist centre called Ososo in Akoko Edo Local Government Area, Edo State, Nigeria. He graduated from Auchi polytechnic Auchi, Edo State Nigeria in 2004, specializing in painting. In 2012 he proceeds for further studies to obtain a post graduate diploma in painting at Nmandi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State Nigeria (UNIZIK). As a young and promising artist whose mastery of his talent, unique style that is fully identified with. He has participated in several group exhibitions both national and international. Some of his exhibitions are. Lawani Sunday has made contributions to some academic journal and currently an academic staff in Painting Department, Auchi Polytechnic Auchi Edo State Nigeria, and also a member of society of Nigeria Artist (SNA).
