Susa Nawrocki, is a resident of Columbus, Mississippi since 1970. She received a B.A. Degree from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1964 and a M.S.A. Degree in drawing and painting from The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1965. Susa was the reference librarian at the Columbus-Lowndes County Library from 1986 to 2010. Her work has appeared in over sixty state, regional, and national art competitions including : The Oklahoma Art Center, St. Johns University, Ball State University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Davidson College, Brooks Memorial Art Center-Memphis, Appalachian State University, Del Mar College and many others. Nawrocki’s husband Thomas, (MFA 1967, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee), is a Professor of Printmaking and Fiber Arts at Mississippi University for Women, daughter Dr. Selena is a Professor of Interior Design at Valdosta State University in Georgia, and son Dr. Steffan is the Director of Pre-Clinical Research at the Cancer Therapy and Research Center - University of Texas, San Antonio.
