My artistic process involves the creation of paintings without brushes using paint that has dried before it is manipulated. The inherent flexibility in the unsupported material allows the investigation of textile, collage, and sculptural techniques. Intricately detailed works are the result of many hours of methodical cutting and layering. Ultimately, my core aim is to generate conversation about the nature of painting and to challenge expectations of what a painting can be.
