Donna Birtwistle

Donna is a Wild Life Artist depicting Animals, Birds, Flowers in their natural environment. She uses WaterColour Pencils, Pastels, Arcylics, & shows some Photography. Her technique includes taking the picture of the subject then developing the art work. Pencils allow great detail, while Pastels give advantage of overlaying light colours over dark colours. Some base pictures are taken from videos to produce the image wanted to draw. Donna has traveled extensively which has given her the opportunity of capturing photos of many Creatures not found in North America.
