Biography: Sheryl Hughes is a native Californian who took up painting later in her life. She has been taking photographs for many years and now uses those pictures as inspiration for her paintings. After spending many years visiting longtime friends that live there, Sheryl decided to move to Florida. She enjoys traveling and going back to California and Oregon to visit friends and family there. During her travels she spends time enjoying some of her favorite hobbies, scuba diving & photography. While diving she enjoys underwater photography and has achieved her underwater photography certification. Out of the water, she enjoys traveling around Florida taking pictures of Florida’s wildlife. She has also traveled up and down both the US east and west coasts finding more inspiration for her photos and paintings. Her paintings can be seen in many businesses around Northern California and Florida. Awards and Citations: Jan -2014 Poster Artist for Deerfield Beach Art Festival.
