Sobre el Artista


Bruce has a passion for nature and is an avid outdoorsman. H has traveled the world and has been to the Arctic Circle on several adventures. He has made his home in many beautiful places around the United States including Alaska, Maryland, New York, North Carolina, Ohio and Texas. He now lives in both Arizona and Alaska with his wife Mary. Bruce works in several media and has chosen to specialize in nature. Bruce focuses his work on control of light, color, texture, viewpoint and composition. He creates dramatic but pleasing images that tell a story. His goal is to take the viewer beyond the image, to stir emotions and excitement that allow each viewer to complete their story of the natural world. Bruce studies art at Columbus College of Art and Design. He holds a bachelors of Arts Degree from Otterbein College. He has served on the board of several art leagues and is a member of the National Watercolor Society, Kachemak Bay Watercolor Society, and a signature member of the Arizona Watercolor Association. He has judge many art competitions and exhibits. Bruce teaches painting and drawing. He has participated and won awards in many juried exhibitions and galleries.
