 Artist Biography:

Rita Schwab was born and raised in Heidelberg, Germany. Transferred from the Heidelberg University to the University of South Florida in Tampa, where she received her BFA.  

MFA from Florida State University, Tallahassee.

Assistant Art Director, educator and college adjunct

Workshop leader, private instructor, studio artist for 40 years.

Mixed media Abstract Painter

Textured and earth-oriented organic focus

Rita shows her work locally, nationally and internationally in galleries and museums, at juried fine art shows and art cooperatives.
