MiMi Bastos (painter, plastic artist)

I was born in Portugal and thanks to my experience of life and numerous trips around the world, I have been inspired by the colors, atmospheres, light, sparkles and smells of the countries I crossed. 

My aim is to show trough my work, the idyllic expression of positive energy, that surrounds me and express it in my canvas . 

Contemporary, self-taught, attentive, oriented and influenced by masters of art, I achieved my own abstract expression, preferentially adopting a mixed technique, where I use mostly, acrylics, resins, crystals, stones, gold, silver and others, on canvas.

I am a art's lover in all its expressions ! 

My life and thoughts are positive, plently of colors, glitter, fantasy ... I try to reflect in my art work, artistic expression images that allow my followers to dream and travel in a universe of light, mystery and hope.

I am firm in the struggle for the conservation of the planet and species and respect for human life.

I love to focus my thoughts in the beauty of infinite universe and our mother earth ...

My work has been much appreciated by several national and foreign private collectors, who use my works to illuminate and decor their home and work spaces. 

My paintings  are positive, natural, spontaneous and expressionist, transporting what one visualizes to an abstract and almost mystical sphere.
