on our way back I observed the German landscapes, which differed from the Austrian ones in their size and the straightness of their lines within the areas of cultivation. Although there is no superlative of straight, the comparison of the landscapes would demand one. When thinking about those straight lines, I remember the importance of a quick brushstroke when painting straight lines. oil on canvas, 60 x 80 cm,
