About The Artist

Born in 1949, Mikio Yamazaki is an oil and water painter and a member of the Nitten. He depicts the sophisticated landscapes of urban Tokyo towns, such as Omotesando and Ginza, through his own unique perspective and continues to explore new approaches including on-the-spot drawing of mountain flowers in his hometown of Utsunomiya.
