Cupid's Descent From Heaven

The inspiration for Cupid's Descent comes from the concept of prayers for love being answered by the divine forces that be. Teardrops fall from the heavens at the realization that even though love is everywhere, most cannot connect or allow love in. In the desire to assist, Cupid descends from the heavens and removes the veil that creates the illusion of separation from love, the only thing that truly matters. This work is an encaustic painting made of beeswax, Damar resin and pigments on wood. It measures 36"x 24"
