'2020 vision' by Catherine Taylor Parry is mainly new work inspired by living in rural Wales. The paintings show her love of the changing skies, the ever changing weather and the light on misty mountains and shining water.It reflects her love of paint, acrylic and oil and the joy of putting colour together to create images filled with memory, atmosphere and an ethereal beauty. The colours are harmonious bright or subdued. The foreground can suggest people or objects looking out to an unreachable horizon. The paintings are a way of achieving the unattainable and working to express memories within. Having MS has limited Catherine's access to outside but her work comes from inside..
