One, which I consider as my professional work, a way to support myself and to contribute in some way to society by making people pleased and happy when viewing my city and landscapes. And the other, my desire and selfish vocation is to attempt to create beautiful and mysterious hard edge abstract paintings that hopefully and sometimes are met with the same results. At art school; Willem de Kooning, Jackson Pollack, later Frank Stella, Barnett Newman and Ellsworth Kelly, influenced me. I can and have produced large canvases with delicate and sharp precision, as well as of small-scale mixed-media works on paper Mail P.O.
