About The Artist

Valerya van Bokkem, born in 1960 in the Netherlands, is a multidisceplinary artist based in het homeland. With a background in Communication and Multimedia Design, she brings a unique perspective to her art. In 2017, Valerya founded StudiO AterlAt, becoming a prominent figure in the art world. Het work have been showcased in group exhibitions across various countries, including the United States, Switzerland and Italy. Notably, StudiO AterlAt was recognized as an Artavita finalist for the prestigious ArtExpo New York 2024.

Works from her latest series BREATHE will be showcased at The Holy Art Gallery New York in December 2024.
