The model’s garment is almost florescent with the fuchsia and blue of the background jumping off the page. The shadowed enclosure gives a feeling of rest and relaxation, with just a touch of leaves breaking the silence. 2} “Just another Monday morning” Oil on canvas 40”x30” When the artist saw the model preparing for the day, she took on the point of view of the mirror. With a direct gaze the model engages the viewer. The colors are warm but neutral with gray balancing the bright colors. Energizing for the day.
