Name of Painting: "Destitute Youngster" Medium: Oil on canvas. Size: 26" x 60" ORIGINAL -SOLD- This is the 3rd Painting from the series, "DESTITUTE YOUNGSTERS" I did for my final year major project at College. It was an eye opening and humbling experience for me as I worked as a volunteer, with children who lived on the streets. My aim was to bring to light the horrors, dangers and hardships these children were facing on a daily basis. My Street Kids series did just that because the media interviewed me and the painting "The Dream" as well as my voluntary work and stories of a number of the street children were featured in the News and Newspapers.
