About The Artist

I live in Lafayette, California. As a result of my experience in engaging with the world, I know that life sooner or later offers up its terrible beauty to us, and therefore I try to find inspiration in contradiction; discovery; clarity; opposition; correspondences; truth; silence...and certain brilliant corners. For now, I continue in the daily practice of painting, and in those brief moments where I find the work I'm involved with in some way approaches a kind of music, then I feel connected with something vital...and necessary.
