Artwork Description
Be Yourself from your Birth to your Death.
60.0 x 75.0 cm
The painting depicts an African tribal woman with different headdress, ponytail, necklace, and sticks inserted under her mouth. They live in freedom, simply and calmly, and can do whatever they want without being injured, even if there is no love, which is a lifestyle I enjoy. As a child, my stern, tyrannical father instilled in me a mental disease; no matter what I did or said, I was inadequate. I wasn't permitted to express myself or be with ladies. He disliked people and enjoyed having control and being cruel. The key words and wonderful butterflies serve as a contrast to a rule-bound and perfect society, as well as people who are selfish, cruel, and power-hungry. Instead, they represent and pay tribute to sweet individuals like me who are tolerant, honest, and loving. What I like is to be free from evil and live in peace, to be myself and joyful, and to be with ladies, which is fundamental to the artwork.
