About The Artist

I am popularly known as Don Pafegs but my real name is Victor Afego. I am an intuitive abstract and contemporary realist painter who lives and works in Abuja, Nigeria. I am a native of Mbula, Adamawa state, North eastern part of my country Nigeria. My beautiful and colorful paintings pay homage to my observatory abilities and my African experience. My unique personal style reflects happiness, tranquility. and showcases the beauty of my thoughts and imagination and reflects the vibrant spirit and atmosphere of the inner mind and external sights. My picturesque sceneries, animals, plants, people, and objects are all made alive with contrasting and harmonious colors and bold compositions. As a junior student in high school, I received excellent marks for my innate painting skills. From a young age I have believed that I could create any beautiful thing I can see in the world or in my mind on paper. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. My paintings and other art are found in many private collections and public collections. I am a quite story teller and I welcome you to join me on this visual journey.
