About The Artist
The subject matter of my photography varies greatly. Many shots are of objects or situations that people pass by each day and do not take time to appreciate. Somehow, when they’re frozen in time and put on paper, people are more interested. In some of these instances, I try to offer a different perspective, almost feeling as if you’re looking at something for the first time. To be quite honest, people see a great “photograph” in their life every day, the only difference is, I’m the one who takes an extra minute in the day to stop and snap a picture.
Other subject matters are sought out and take me on small journeys. Occasionally I come back with better pictures going to and from whatever it was I set out to photograph. In some cases, I have spent many hours being very patient battling Mother Nature in the form of natural light, weather, wind, and bugs of all sorts. Having to sit perfectly still in an odd crouching position holding your breath waiting for the wind to completely stop blowing, hearing and feeling mosquitoes and/or bees buzz around and landing on you can be quite aggravating. I will also visit a location several different times just to get the right natural lighting or weather.
Please take a few minutes to take a look at my photography. My main objective is to get you to stop, look at, and appreciate the things around you in your everyday life. If I can get one person to be amazed by looking at something they pass by every day or have already seen one thousand times, I have achieved my goal.
It's a pretty neat world out there. Take a closer look.
Thank you for your time. I hope you enjoy viewing my photography.
