About The Artist

Emerging Australian Professional Artist. 

I enjoy working in various individual media and also mixed media. The chosen media for the work will depend entirely on how I feel I want to express my view of the selected subject matter at hand. 

Acrylic, Oil, Ink pen, watercolor, Gouache, and Digital media are all commonplace in my studio. 3D media such as paper, airdry clay and plaster are new media that I am currently experimenting with for wall sculptures. 

I have completed a Diploma of Visual Arts and various other workshops with recognized Artists of different media. I have also completed a Cert IV in Training and Assessment and a Cert IV in Small Business.  This training has allowed me to operate an Art Studio for some years where I taught students in traditional and Contemporary Fine Arts. Students were of varied ages, from children to adults. 

Now retired from teaching Art and Music I am excited and highly motivated to be in the position to be able to expand my own practice as a professional Visual Artist.

I have won several prizes in local art exhibitions over the years. Winning prizes for Ink drawings, watercolor seascape painting, and Acrylic landscapes has inspired me to continue to grow and expand with my chosen career..
