About The Artist


Miriam Libhaber’s first steps although not having stopped painting, channel her towards Architecture. Upon her separating from her career, for two sabbatical years, she consolidates the columns of her true calling that nourishes and makes her be alive. Once coming back to Mexico she abandons Architecture. Concentrates her energy getting her BA on Visual Arts. Has realized 16 individual exhibitions and more than 200 collective shows within Mexico and abroad. Has been awarded with 6 acknowledgments in Graphics. Her parents: Jose Tabachnik and Sara Edelsztejn, Miriam was born as first generation in Mexico City. Married to Samuel Libhaber, one daughter, 3 grandchildren. Through her work, Miriam reintroduces as a plastic resource, the iconography belonging to the culture that raised her through reinvented images born from her particular gaze.
