About The Artist
Stefanie Rocknak’s work has been nationally and internationally exhibited. Venues include the Smithsonian, the windows of Saks 5th Ave., NY, NY the Tampa Museum of Art, and the South Street Seaport Museum, NY, NY. Her work has been featured in multiple publications, including Arts and Antiques and Craft Arts International. Rocknak’s work can be found in the Mariner’s Museum, on the Hudson River Sloop, the Clearwater, and in private collections across the United States. Awards include the Grand Prize in the Margo Harris Hammerschlag Biennial Sculpture Award and the 150K commission to design and produce a sculpture for Edgar Allan Poe Square, Boston, MA. Rocknak is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY.
