About The Artist

Australian artist Geraldine "Geri" Simmons AFC has a deep respect and passion for animals and the natural world. She has been involved in a selection of exhibitions since 1988, both in Sydney and the USA, including New York City. Geraldine has won awards at international juried art contests for wildlife works and illustration as well as the AFC Conservation Artist Award for artistic excellence and extraordinary dedication to conservation. Her wildlife works are held in private collections in Sydney and throughout the world. In 2004 Geraldine was proudly accepted as a signature member of the Artists For Conservation; host to world-class wildlife and nature artists who’s shared mission is to support wildlife and habitat conservation through their art. Throughout her career she has received many invitations to donate works to well-known wildlife conservation and animal protection campaigns where she has gladly donated original works as well as limited edition prints. Geraldine’s mission is to communicate that all animals are part of an intelligent system where we are all connected and that animals deserve to be safe and thrive in their own habitat. “I am so grateful for the magnificent wildlife that is a part of our world that inspires me to draw from my soul.”
