About The Artist


Yolanda Fundora is a textile and quilt designer, fine artist, graphic designer and children’s book illustrator. All of her quilting fabrics are available through www.urban-amish.com. She currently licenses her fabric designs with Blank Quilting. She is co-author of two books with quilter Barbara Campbell: Holiday Quilts and Fuse It and Be Done! a primer about all things fusible. Her fine art forms part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This museum was also the venue for a one-woman show in 2004-2005 titled Toward a Digital Aesthetic: the Art of Yolanda V. Fundora. She has illustrated 2 children’s books. Her favorite: A Very Smart Cat/ Una gata muy inteligente (with writer, Mario Picayo) was released officially on September 21, 2008 at the Cat’n’Around festival in Catskill, NY. She also has published a fine art book with text by botanical lecturer, Marta McDowell, A Garden Alphabetized (for your viewing pleasure). The Garden Alphabetized series was also the focus of her Featured Artist spot for Apple iCards in 2005. She shows her fine art continually at Mondo Summit, New Jersey as part of the Chatham Area Artisans Guild Gallery.
