About The Artist
Verne Varona’s passionate relationship with photography began the moment he held his first Kodak Instamatic during the early 1960s. By the early 1980s he was doing freelance photojournalism and child portraiture.
Throughout the late 1990s he had begun to experiment with digital and a specialized slow motion abstract technique that would emphasize his love of color and impressionism.
He has photographed book covers, weddings, events and stock work, but his love for the spontaneous, quirky and artistic is his passion.
Verne is also known as one of the most captivating and dynamic health educators in the country. He has authored two popular health and wellness books and is now involved in feature filmmaking.
