Painting: Acrylic and Gesso on Canvas. Size: 23.2 H x 28.7 W x 0.8 in A clash of old and new. People gather to celebrate as flags fly and fireworks sparkle. After living in Turkey for 3 years, I noticed how much the locals love to celebrate. Flags hang from every possible object. Sounds blast and people scream with joy. The government in Turkey is demolishing skyscrapers in order to keep the magnificent view. Aug 2014
