Gladys Waters is a Colombian American Contemporary Artist. Late in her life she discovered that the blood that runs through her veins is that of an artist. Her late father Luis E Celedón was a very talented artist and she now follows in his footsteps.
Gladys does oil paintings, combining the palette knife technique with the strokes of her painting brushes. Much of her colorful and passionate culture, her paints are vibrant, passionate and inviting.
She had solo shows at the Colombian Consulate in San Francisco, CA, in several galleries in Northern California, at the Redding Regional Airport, Shasta County Office of Education and Shasta County Arts Council. .
Gladys regularly exhibits her artwork with some other local artists at Redding City Hall, Shasta County Arts Council , NVAL and other galleries at Northern California.
She had participated and had been selected in several national, and international art competitions. From January through March, 2024 she had a solo International online show, organized by Biafarim and Exhibizione.
