Juliana Mejía Posada (Colombia, 1973)
She studied Production Engineering and Management in Medellin, Colombia.
Her training as an engineer, combined with her studies in art history and her time in the workshops of several art masters in Latin America have contributed to her exploration of techniques and her development as an artist. Acrylic painting remains a constant, but her most recent work incorporates faces in collage.
The artist has had individual and collective exhibitions in several countries such as Colombia, Costa Rica, Argentina, Morocco and Mexico. She is also a member of ACAV, the Costa Rican Association of Visual Artists since 2016. She currently resides in Mexico City.
