Oil on Canvas, 18”w. x 24”h., 2005 This is the lower pond at the arboretum at California State University, Fullerton. I created this while recovering from shoulder surgery. I had injured my shoulder by doing more than what is expected of a teacher and was afraid I had sacrificed my artistic career and wasted the gift God had given me. Thanks to the surgery the numbness was gone. But my hand shook with tremors & I could not hold the brush still when I started to paint, but overcame it.
