Painting: Watercolor on Paper. The original is for sale. I recently became interested in what could be done using straight lines only, focusing on factors in design and creating drama with the use of monochrome and strong whites. I expect these rules to lead in new directions overtime. Some of these which are marked were inspired by photos in the Isaiah Rice Photograph Collection. The rest are inspired by random photographs. The medium is watercolor. I used Fabriano Artistico cold pressed 140 lb. 100% cotton paper, and the dimensions of the original painting are 18 inches x 24 inches.
