About The Artist

Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1933, Sumitaka Yasumura studied photography at the School of International Culture. His images capture and memorializes certain moments witnessed around the world, with a focus on natural phenomena and vistas created by mother nature. Yasumura holds exhibitions and displays work in Japan and abroad.
