ABOUT MY PAINTINGS
While painting I transfer my sketches that I did prepare by using the collage technique into the canvas sometimes like it is and sometimes as improvised. On my paintings where I adopted the abstract explanation style there are textures that bring the exploration in it on several parts. However, the nested color values are reflected on the surface of the canvas with various variations. Yes, the abstract explanation is my style.
On my works, it may be seen that an understanding comes in front where the surface, texture and color relations are researched. The line, format and color values are on the first plan. I pay attention to the formation of a balanced plastic fiction by thinking an energetic movement and rhythm by using the color stains and various contrasts; because I follow an abstractive attitude where the multiple colored, next to each other, superimposed plans and objective images are increasingly melted. I believe that the horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines that I use time to time add a new movement to my paintings. As a matter of fact I don’t have a single style of working while performing my paintings. My workshop is an experimental space where I apply various materials and different technique; therefore I produce many artworks in different forms. I love materials so much; I like to use all kinds of material since they are completing each other or I feel like that. Many of them are improvised/momentum it means what so ever I think. So much so that sometimes I reflect out my sadness, darkness, desperation and sometimes my hilarity, my hope and my happiness by reflecting to the colors. Sometimes horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines enter in these colors and sometimes lines that give pattern taste. Sometimes those I produce are not similar; I guess it must be from my mood. Sometimes it’s like I want to use all the color persisting to everything, persisting to the events, persisting to the life. As I fight with the life. The paintings are sometimes good, sometimes bad. Sometimes I want that all colors have to explode and flush from the canvas.
My workshop is my refuge; since we are a whole with my books, by paints, all my materials. The sketches are touring in my brain like to talk with them when I don’t paint. Sometimes I develop project in my brain but sometimes I can’t transform them into the reality.
Sometimes I feel myself as flying while painting. Yes this is for sure: For me my workshop is my refuge. I always feel myself like this in my workshop. It is very important for me to be here even I don’t paint but absolutely to be here under all conditions. In this only place I feel myself very good and free.
As a matter of fact I love to be free….
